Сибирский Клондайкno EN translation Dubbing on request

Mystery on the Map • 2026 •

Mystery on the Map • 2025 • 44 minutes

Mystery on the Map • 2025 • 44 minutes

Kulikovo Field Dubbing on request

Mystery on the Map • 2025 • 44 minutes

Vadim Norshteyn goes to Tula Oblast to visit the site of one of the most emblematic events in Russian history — the Battle of Kulikovo. However, his goal is not to reenact the legendary battle — he aims to investigate the main mystery that has puzzled scholars for 645 years. According to chronicles, tens of thousands of warriors clashed here, and rivers ran red with blood. Yet today, the ground remains eerily silent. Where did the remains of the thousands of fallen warriors go? Why have archaeologists, who have thoroughly excavated the field, found virtually no weapons, armor, or other battle artefacts? Vadim conducts his own on-site investigation, studies maps and chronicles, and seeks clues that may have escaped scientific attention. Can he, like a detective, piece together disparate facts and get closer to solving the mystery of Kulikovo Field?

Putorana Plateau Dubbing on request

Mystery on the Map • 2025 • 44 minutes

Vadim Norshtein ventures to the edge of the Central Siberian Plateau, where the Taymyr Peninsula effectively begins — the northernmost reaches of our country. There, in the Arctic, lies one of Russia's most inaccessible wonders — the enigmatic, alluring, almost extraterrestrial Putorana Plateau. The mountains there have no peaks, the canyons and lakes, as they say, "have no bottom", and most waterfalls remain unnamed because they are literally "countless". Our travel-detective will attempt to understand why even mentioning the Putorana Plateau causes people to tremble — sacredly for some, mystically for others. What creates the aura of mystery around it? And what truly happens where human feet rarely tread? Is it true that the plateau is a "magnet" for UFOs, a powerful source of energy, and the real location of the legendary Hyperborea? Will Vadim succeed in uncovering this mystery on the map?

Mystery on the Map • 2024 • 44 minutes

Besov Nos is one of the most mystical places in Russia. This small cape on the shores of Lake Onega in Karelia is shrouded in ill repute. The rocks at the water’s edge are covered with thousands of strange drawings. The most famous is the image of the "Bes" (Russian for "demon") a two-meter-tall humanoid with a squared head and bent legs. Legend says that monks from the Murom Monastery, in an attempt to tame the demon, chiseled an Orthodox cross into the creature’s hand. As soon as the work was finished, the rock split in two, the monks fled, and the stonecutter died. Since then, the place has been considered cursed. Is there anything good to be expected from encountering the Bes stone? How do scientists explain the origin of these mysterious petroglyphs? And why do some researchers believe the rock art is a message from alien civilizations? Vadim Norshtein travels to the enigmatic Besov Nos cape to uncover the truth behind this mystery.

Mystery on the Map • 2024 • 44 minutes

From school, we learn that on April 5, 1242, on Lake Peipus, the Russian host led by Alexander Nevsky faced the forces of the Teutonic Order. The young prince supposedly employed a tactical trick — driving the German knights onto thin ice, which then gave way beneath them. But why do historians and archaeologists still debate what really happened? It turns out that even the exact location of the legendary battle remains unknown. Why is this pivotal medieval Russian battle for independence from Western neighbours shrouded in so many fabrications? Where did the fragments of arrows and spears go? And why have archaeologists yet to find them? Additionally, where did the Raven Stone — the only landmark of the Ice Battle mentioned in the chronicles — disappear to?
