“Angara” is the first rocket built in modern Russia. Its unique modular design envisions creating several standardized launch vehicles with different characteristics, all based on a single platform. In the heavy A-5 modification, the rocket can deliver nearly 30 tons of cargo to a distance of 40,000 kilometers. The space freighter is assembled entirely from domestic components. Instead of toxic heptyl in its fuel tanks, it uses a mixture of oxygen and kerosene. In this film, we explain how the newest Russian rocket is constructed.
